The Tammie Davis Project.

I have been very fortunate to be on some really cool CD projects in my lifetime, but every once in a while one will come along that stands out in the crowd…One were everything just falls into place…

Usually we have a hard time picking songs or the session players cancel at the last minute, there are all sorts of issues that come along that dampen the creative flow of a recording project…But not this one…

I can’t remember when I have been this excited for a project to be released and this one as of yet is not on any Major Label.

Usually I am excited because I know I will be a part of another “Hit Song”But in this case things just fell together to the fact that I know the sky is the limit for this upcoming “Nashville Recording Artist”, better known as Tammie Davis.

The songs selection in my opinion was incredible; Monte Holmes and Craig Perkins Co- Writers of George Strait’s current single “Troubadour” contributed two songs to the project, “Pity Party” and “My Aims Getting Better”.

Tammie wrote a cool fun song “Sexy Little Note” showing her talent for writing…

Jack Trudel Los Angeles, Ca. Wrote what I think is a smash hit “Everything about you”.

And yours truly wrote the title track to the project called “Always and Forever” this song is special to me as I wrote it April 15th 1994, two days before my wedding, yes 14 years ago…

We hired some of the best musicians in Nashville, Danny Parks, David Hungate, Bruce Watkins, Sonny Garrish, Bryan Fullem, Billy Davis and Jennifer Wrinkle with Ben Harris Engineering and myself as Pianist and Producer and I must say, it went off without a hitch.

Tammie did a wonderful job singing as I am sure people are going to be blowed away by her vocal performance and the way she took control of the session with her vocals was mind blowing… She sure made some “Big-time” fans in Nashville.

All in all this is turning out to be a really cool project and I am excited for Tammy and all the guys in her band and I must say the sky is the limit for this future star on the horizon…

Be sure to keep an eye out for this new project titled “Always and Forever Yours” projected to be released Fall 2008…
